[edit] Speedy deletion?

Why is this article tagged for speedy deletion pending that it is "an article about a band, singer, musician, or musical ensemble that does not assert the importance or significance of the subject." Necro is incredibly significant in his success through establishing a record label, a film company, being a CEO, director, and musician, all through independent means. "Bury You with Satan" is an intricate song that is notable for being a physical single and having even gone #1. To say Necro's works do not assert importance or significance is an incredibly obnoxious thing to say seeing as how he garnered all of his success and following independently. Some would regard him better than the heralded Eminem. Brutal music/lyrics are still a form of art, you can't just exempt it for that. R-Tiztik 02:05, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Explanation of request for speedy

Currently this page nor the page for Necro assert their notability as per WP:MUSIC. Bury You with Satan contains no verifiable outside sources and although it says it is "#1" it does not state which chart. The article for Necro only list the artist's myspace page, homepage and a cached wayback machine page as sources these are not enough. Can you add verifiable references that will satisfy the requirements of WP:MUSIC? Helmsb 02:20, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Yeah I have the single. The cover art and information (with the exception of track lengths which I added from my copy of the single) can be found at Discogs. As for it's chart peak, I don't know exactly which chart this references; this peak is noted in the Necro article without the specific chart mentioned. R-Tiztik 03:00, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
