This sentence could use a little work:
"The elbow and the knee are the most commonly effected areas because many parts of the body rely on their repetitive use."

My mom has Bursitis and swears by a Chinese concoction known as "Banjemin Jaminton Healing Oil" (correct spelling) 45mL for about $3. (Can't really put this in the main article of course). You can Google for it and/or find it in a herb store.--Hooperbloob 06:01, 28 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Ankle Bursitis
I have bursitis in one of my ankles. The swelling and pain seems to have gotten better for the most part after about 4 days.
[edit] Bursitis
I have read about Bursitis, I would like to know what causes it and what can I do to stop it from happening.
As far as Bursitis in the shoulder goes I got a DVD in Hawaii that helps the "Rotator Cuff" - with tiny little movements with a two pound weight. I guess it works for Bursitis too caus I can move my arm all around now. I think the site is shoulderRelief.com - it had a free clip to watch of exercises to do. "Alieve" also helped me but bothered my stomach a bit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.235.218.167 (talk) 01:55, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Can be caused by baterial infection ?
The article says that Bursitis is caused by mechanical strain or damage. Can it also be caused by a bacterial infection? Is it true that infection during, say, surgery, can often travel in the blood and start infections in places like the Elbow bursa? Nyh 12:13, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] I like the new photo!
The old photo was actually my elbow. But I have to say, the new photo is *much* better. That's some bump. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Themeparkphoto (talk • contribs) 05:14, 15 March 2007 (UTC).
[edit] not sure about the reference to scoliosis and shoulder bursitis
I'll look for a reference but I doubt this is correct - I've worked with shoulder patients for years and never seen this GordonMarjory 00:14, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
