The article for Burlington Ontario lists its population as 150,000, whereas the article for Burlington Vermont gives a population of nearly 200,000. How then can Burlington Ontario be considered the largest in the world? I deleted that reference because it makes no sense! -SRG

Is this article relevant? It just looks like a list of things called Burlington. It doesnt go into much depth why Burlington is notable?

I think this article is very relevant as a disambiguation page - you hear of a town called Burlington, and you want to know in what state it is in (you'll see that you have a lot of options, but the most likely is in Vermont). I'd still like to see an introduction paragraph that explains the origin of all these names. It is obvious that all the American "Burlington" towns are named after something - but after what? A person (but if so, who, and this article should link to this person as well)? A town in England (is there such a thing? again, this article doesn't link to one)? Perhaps the Earl of Burlington? The article should be a disambiguation, with the Burlington redirecting to Burlington, Vermont. The one in Vermont is the most well known, as it's the highest populated city in Vermont. Also being the most populated of the cities and towns sharing the name. I believe more people search for Burlington, VT than they do, say Burlington, New Jersey. -24.92.41.95 19:42, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
Done because Burlington VT is more popular and most probably more searched for. -MFan3 01:18, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
And moved back because there is no clear evidence that Burlington VT is so overwhelming well known as to merit primary topic disambiguation. Feel free to take it up on WP:RM. olderwiser 01:50, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
And for what it's worth, until I came across this article, I had just assumed the only Burlington was the one in Ontario. --Kmsiever 05:20, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] See also & Other

What is the difference between the Other section and the See also section? Why are some articles with Burlington in the name in one but not the other? --Kmsiever 17:58, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
