[edit] Importance tag
I tagged the article as being of high level importance because of the precedence set in the original case, Burger King of Florida vs Hoots. This article is is very important because its relevance to the Lanham Act, in fact it is used as a teaching case in many law schools.

[edit] NPOV tag
While updating the Burger King Article, I read this article. It appears to be written in a way that favors the Hootses side of the story. It is only my opinion and I would like for others to read through and see if the tag is warranted.

- Removed the NPOV tag, CloseApple did a good job on the edit. - Jeremy (Jerem43 18:25, 3 November 2007 (UTC))
[edit] Need more sources
I just overhauled this article, and hopefully the article now has a neutral point of view. However, now there's a new problem: other than the appellate court decision itself, the main source for the article is a 2003 Illinois Times article with at least one known error of fact: it keeps referring to the Florida company as "Burger King Corporation", which was not its name at the time, as the court case shows. Since the research for the news article itself appears pretty light, this Wikipedia article should probably have at least one source unrelated to the Illinois Times, if one can be found. (P.S.: Is it OK to remove the NPOV tag now? I left it just because the template itself says to.) --Closeapple 11:05, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
