Burnside Avenue is an elevated station on the IRT Jerome Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intsersection of Burnside and Jerome Avenues in the Bronx, it is served by the 4 train at all times.

It is the only "express" station on the Jerome Avenue Line. There are extra side exits from the wooden mezzanine near the stairs to the platform. The station is three or four stories above street level.

This station was renovated in the Summer and early Fall of 2006. During this time, the mezzanine area and staircases received a much needed facelift, while the both platform canopies and structural beams that hold each canopy were replaced and yellow tactile edge warning strips were installed.

The 2006 artwork here is called How to Get to the Moon by Laura Battle
