Produced by Ed Rose (The Get Up Kids, Coalesce), the album garnered a 4 "K" review in Kerrang! and a 4/5 in Alternative Press. It followed two EPs and a split CD with Racetraitor (whose members formed Fall Out Boy). Burn It Down toured with Shadows Fall, In Flames, Dillinger Escape Plan and Zao before disbanding. Some of the group's members later went on to form Time in Malta. They played their final show at the 2001 Hellfest and played a reunion show in 2005.
