Burgeo is a Canadian town located on the south coast of the island of Newfoundland in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
The town is approximately 75 miles (121 km) east of Channel-Port aux Basques.
The Post Office was established in 1856 and the first Postmaster was Richard Bradshaw.
The population was 900 in 1911 and 2,474 in 1976.
