Bura Jungle is a village located in North East Punjab (Pakistan). It is located 3 miles west from a rapidly growing town of Dina City and 6 miles from Rohtas Fort.

Bura Jungle is estimated to be approximately 500 years old. Legend has it that the village gets its funny name of Bura Jungle from its first resident. This first resident came from Swat (Pakistan) it is believed he left the beautiful valley of Swat (Pakistan) due to some danger to his life.
He was a strong tall man with blonde hair and after living a nomadic life for a few years he decided to settle down in this rich agricultural region near the Grand Trunk Road. In the Punjabi language, blond and light brown color is referred to as Bhoorah and as this area was thick in vegetation 500 years ago, it was referred to as Jungle during the era of British Colonisation of the sub continent, hence the name Bura Jungle was coined for this village over time.

After the death of the great spiritual man of Mohraa Shareef Peer Baba Jee Qasim, his son peer Mubarak qasim immigrated to Bura Jungle and provided spiritual teachings to the locals of this village.After the death of peer Mubarak Qasim his sons Pir Mehmood Qasim,Pir Masood Qasim,Pir Nazir Qasim carry on his mission and its still going on.
