[edit] Some Remarks

This article is sheer caste propaganada. Someone outside the area would not be able to understand it and might take it as stating scientific facts. In fact, the racist theories described in this article would not be accepted in any current academic institution. It reads like a jumble of colonial ideas from the 19th century. It should be remembered that the Dravidian-Aryan division is completely none scientific, and only used for politiacl reasons these days. There are some interesting facts about local costumes and beliefs in the article, I hope someone would take the time needed to clean it up and make it respectable. The wonderful people of Tulu Nadu deserve better! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.0.147.98 (talk) 19:50, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

I have removed the sub-section titled "Bunts in Underworld." The aspect of a community associating with underworld is not a pleasant thought. --203.101.103.162 (talk) 11:53, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Vikram

The only usable one I could find, concerning Maharashtrian Bunts mainly though it has descriptions of the general community. [1]Trips (talk) 14:52, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
