Bumper boats are an amusement park ride that uses inner tube shaped watercraft with steerable electric motors. Most are equipped with water guns for duels with other riders. Some make rain gear available. On February 5, 2008, a child is reported to have been knocked off a bumper boat, and drowned. This occurred in a theme park along the United States east coast.
