Bumble (TV Series)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bumble is a New Zealand children's program for children ages 2-7. It features 'Bumble', a warm hearted, magical bee, played by Jason Gunn.
It also features Bumbles friends: Peek, Boo, Anna and Fishy, but Anna was killed off due to a dispute with the managing director of the show (and also Gunn's wife) Janine Morrell-Gunn. A court case date was set on the 25th of March 1999, between the shows creators and "Anna" but a debilitating illness on Anna's behalf caused her to be bedridden at home for several months, acquitting Janine Morrell on all charges of unfair dismissal based on race.
Fishy was a Maori, and was known for his tagline "Kia Ora Bumble".
