Talk:Bulgarian Cup
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
- If the winner has already secured a place through the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group, the team that has come fourth in the championship substitutes it.
- That's a bit unusual. Isn't it the runners-up which qualifies, as almost everywhere else? --Explendido Rocha 09:58, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
- The 2nd- and 3rd-placed teams qualify for the UEFA Cup through the championship, so it's the 4th team that remains if the Bulgarian Cup winner has finished 2nd or 3rd in A PFG :)
- If you mean the runners-up in the Cup should qualify, I really don't know if it's unusual, but it's not a mistake: last season the final was CSKA Sofia – Cherno More, but Lokomotiv Sofia, who came fourth in A PFG and were eliminated early in the Cup, play in the 2006-07 UEFA Cup.
