Description
English: So-called “Brancaccio Bull”: the bull-god Apis holding the solar disk and the uraeus. Granodiorite, Egyptian artwork from the Ptolemaic Era (2nd century BC), brought to Rome in the Imperial Era. Found in 1886 in the area of the Horti Mæcenatiani, on the Esquiline Hill.
