Talk:Building Schools for the Future
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The entry does not return as a "page" when accessed through the search and as a new user of wiki I do not understand why - perhaps because it is a stub"?
The entry could do with updating to include : a) a reference to "Partnership for Schools" (PfS) (P4S)(the UK non-departmental public body created to oversee the BSF programme); b) the use of BSF as an abbreviation which is in common use in the UK; c) a statement of the structure of the programme - its "waves"; d) a reference to the "Academies" programme that sits alongside and is also overseen by PfS; e) a reference to "Primary BSF" which will be comlementary; f) a mention of "Local Education Partnerships" (LEPs) that are fundamental to its success.

[edit] List of schools includes
Ephebi made note of the fact about lesser projects being included within the list, which could eventually become unmanageable. Whilst I agree about this, I think for now given the fact the list is quite negligable in size, this isn't too much of a problem to include rebuilt schools (as the BSF project is actively involved in their construction), so to exclude them wouldn't be truely reflective of the programme's aims. I think once (or if) the list becomes too large in size, it should then be reviewed and any appropriate action (a new list article for example) be decided and acted upon.
