An alternative to blanking your talk page is to archive the contents. -- wrp103 (Bill Pringle) (Talk) 03:22, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
- I've searched around in my preferences and the 'edit this page' page but I can't find how to archive the contents, can you help? -- BugHunter2 20:07, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
-
- Edit your talk page to include the following:
[[/Archive01]]
-
- Then click on that link. It will allow you to create a new page called "Archive01" beneath your home page. Now you can cut and paste messages from your talk page to your archive. In your case, you can display the history of your talk page, and open the version before your delete in a new window. Then cut and paste that page into your archive page. If you look at my talk page you will see what I did. Most people file pages by date, but I decided to store it also by category. -- wrp103 (Bill Pringle) (Talk) 03:43, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
