Buglawton

Buglawton is a suburb of Congleton town. It was formerly a village, but Congleton expanded outwards to incorporate it. Its name is from the Anglo-Saxon words Buga which was a personal name and Hlawton which means a settlement. So its name means Buga's settlement.
