Origins of Buffalohead

A description of the original Buffalo Heads (ca. 1977) can be found at Bill Lee (left-handed pitcher) .

In honor of the orginals, The Buffalo Head Society was founded in 1985 as a group of Red Sox aficionados. The BHS published a fanzine called A Red Sox Journal from 1985 through 2002. Publication of ARSJ ceased upon the death of Ted Williams; however there is still a website at [1]
