Bufo nebulifer is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is found in Mexico and the United States. Its natural habitats are temperate forests, temperate grassland, intermittent rivers, swamps, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marches, sandy shores, urban areas, and canals and ditches. Much of the literature refers to this species as Bufo valliceps, but the latter species has been split, and Bufo valliceps does not occur in the United States.
