Bufo cryptotympanicus is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is found in China and Vietnam. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, rivers, swamps, freshwater marshes, and intermittent freshwater marches. It is threatened by habitat loss.
