Buffalo Narrows, Saskatchewan

Buffalo Narrows is a small Metis community in Northern Saskatchewan. Founded centuries ago as a trading settlement, much has changed. It is now a thriving community with over 1500 people living there. Tourism is starting to boom and locals are cashing in. It is located between the waters of two beautiful lakes and boasts large untouched beaches that make you believe that you are alone. [edit] Transportation
Unlike most northern Saskatchewan settlements, Buffalo Narrows is connected to the rest of the province by a paved highway. This allows tourists to visit, mainly in the summer months. It is also served by the Buffalo Narrows Airport. A road is being connected between the province of Aberta but already many Albertans are moving to the northwest Sasakatchewan town because of the boom about to happen. If coming by plane, You travel with Trans West Air.

The school in Buffalo Narrows in called Twin Lakes Community School or "TLCS". It's a big school with about 400 students and about 20 teachers. It has been renovated in the gymnasium to have hard wood floors and a stage. Our kindergarten teacher is also the Vice principle for the high school
