[edit] Image cleanup tag

I do not understand how to explain or clarify the caption on Buddy Hall's Picture. It says: Buddy "The Rifleman" Hall. There is a parenthetical which says "clarify." Please explain how to clarify. I think it may be over-redundant to insert the time, date, and place where a picture was taken, but I have done so in an effort to comply with the objection that was placed in the caption. That seems to me a little like overkill. However, I am trying to be a good Wikipedian and complying with requests. Thanks in advance for your contribution. RailbirdJAM 11:11, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Look for an <!--HTML comment--> immediately after the clarify tag. That's the de facto standard way to annotate small cleanup things, rather than start all-new talk page topics. If I recall correctly, the comment after that one asks what year the photo is from. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 00:22, 5 August 2007 (UTC) PS: The year is what's most important. Buddy Hall didn't look much like that at the beginning of his career, and won't in 20 years either. :-) — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 00:24, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
As always, you are correct. I am still learning to navigate around Wikipedia and will most likely fumble from time to time, but thanks to you, I am learning a great deal and hope someday to be able to contribute Wikipedia-style, in the correct format, to avoid any further problems. Thanks again! :>) RailbirdJAM 13:16, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
Well, see my talk page; I'm not always correct. But I have been at this for two years now, so I'm usually not talkin' out my backside. >;-) Anyway, I hope you don't feel that I'm picking on you; I'm not. I'll continue that discussion at your talk page though. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 20:38, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
