The copyright for the logo shown is held by the Southern Baptist Convention and/or one of its affiliate organizations. The use of this image is believed to constitute fair use for the following reasons:
- There inclusion of the logo is used in an encyclopedic article of the organization identified by the non-free logo.
- There is no equivalent image in the public domain that could adequately be substituted for the non-free logo.
- The use of the image does not constitute either an endorsement of the Baptist Student Union by Wikipedia or of an endorsement of Wikipedia by the Baptist Student Union.
- It is not thought that the inclusion of a low-resolution image will have negative financial impact on the Baptist Student Union.
