Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to videoconferencing. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. -- Siobhan Hansa 13:01, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:158 state street f18s.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:158 state street f18s.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 13:05, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Spam
Given the length of time you have been contributing, you should know full well that we do not advertise here or write in the first person. I have moved Ye Olde Lebanon towne militia to User:Brynulf/sandbox. Given the number of Google hits, I doubt if the group is notable, But if you can manage to create a Wikipedia article, you can try reposting it. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 18:39, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
