[edit] DC-9
You did a couple major "no-nos" in moving that page. First, you did a "cut-and-paste" move, instead of using the move button. Second, you left a bunch of double redirects behind. In future editing, please don't leave behind a giant mess for other people to clean up. Noel (talk) 17:04, 7 September 2005 (UTC)
PS: Wikipedia style is that people generally reply on the User_Talk: page of the person who wrote a message to them (that way, someone doesn't have to monitor a whole long list of User_Talk: pages - one for each person whom they are having a "conversation" with), so please leave any messages for me on my talk page (above); if you leave a message for me here I probably will not see it. Not everyone on Wikipedia uses this style (they would rather keep all the text of a thread in one place), I but I simply can't monitor all the User_talk: pages I leave messages on. Thanks!
- Hi, I had no problem at all with the content of your changes, which were quite good, IIRC (it's been a while). It was simply how you did the move that was a problem. As you know, for Wikipedia:Copyright reasons, we have to keep track of all contributions to the text of an article, and when you cut-and-paste pages around, you disconnect the content from the history of how it was created.
- Sorry, too busy working on my own projects to help much with the DC-9's - but you don't look as if you need much help with the content! :-) Noel (talk) 15:32, 24 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Ealogo.gif has been listed for deletion
| An image or media file you uploaded, Image:Ealogo.gif, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. |
[edit] Menard Electronics Inc. listed for deletion
I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Menard Electronics Inc., suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Menard Electronics Inc.. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Rmlogo.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Rmlogo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 09:10, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
