The Bryan Mountains is a mountain range in the Sonoran Desert of southwest Arizona. It is located in extreme southeastern Yuma County, Arizona.
The Bryan Mountains are northwest-southeast trending, and about 14 miles long; the highest peak is unnamed at: 2,412 feet (735 m). The range borders the Mohawk Valley on the northwest and drains north into a sand dune field; its bordered on the north and northeast by the San Cristobal Valley. The range is an extension southeastwards of the same block faulted range, the Mohawk Mountains.
The mountain range is amongst an eleven mountain sequence of trending ranges and valleys in the hottest region of the southwest Sonoran Desert. This southwestern Arizona region is on the northern perimeter of the Gran Desierto de Altar-(part of the Pinacate volcanic field, and region containing the biosphere reserve, called the Pinacate Reserve).
The Bryan Mountains are in the central-east Barry M. Goldwater Air Force Range-Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge. They are west of the Granite and Growler Mountains, 30 miles west of Ajo, Arizona.
