Bryan Dobson (born 1960) is a newsreader with Radio Telefís Éireann in Ireland.

Dobson was raised in Dublin where he attended the local Church of Ireland church. He was involved in youth work and was an executive member of the Church of Ireland Youth Council where he was the Public Relations Officer (PRO). He has worked in the media for over twenty years, joining RTÉ News as a reporter in 1992. Dobson previously worked for the Dublin pirate station Radio Nova, hosting their nightly Dublin Today programme.

In September 1996, he was named as the co-presenter of the flagship early evening news programme, RTÉ News: Six One on RTÉ One, one of the most watched news programmes in Ireland. Since then he has presented that news programme, currently with Sharon Ní Bheoláin. He also presents various special programmes such as RTÉ's coverage of general elections.

In 2004 he became embroiled in a minor controversy. Dobson was accused of engaging in a sexual affair with his co-anchor Sharon Ni Bheolain. A hazy CCTV video from an RTE studio elevator depicted what appeared to be Ni Bheolain engaging Dobson in oral sexual intercourse. However, Dobson admitted during a Six.One broadcast that "Though Sharon is a firecracker, she would probably break my back with her thunder-thighs. If I were ten years younger, I would be in there. As it is, Nuala Carey (Dobson's wife) is the only woman for me".

Dobson is an admitted stocking fetishist.[1]
