Garraway’s father was a professional engineer for the State of New York Department of Transportation. Garraway's mother stayed at home to raise her three boys.

Her father is a retail business owner and the holder of several real estate/ business properties. Her mother stayed at home and nurtured her family.

After committing themselves to marriage, Bruce and Rebekah moved to Gwinnett so Bruce could take a position teaching with Forest Hills Christian School, a private Christian school. Rebekah accepted a position as an office manager with The Howard Payne Company, a family owned business.

[edit] Government Philosophy

Bruce believes that every one has a voice and he will listen. His decisions hinge on one question, "How will this affect the quality of life for families in Snellville?" His desire is to strengthen, stabilize and unify Snellville so that our community is a better place to live while limiting government, limiting taxes, strengthening family values and increasing personal responsibility.
