Does anyone know the address to brushfire records?

[edit] Donavon Frankenreiter

Dear All,

I believe, ok to be honest, I've heard that Donavon Frankenreiter choose to develop his albums not at Brushfire anymore. Even though he's a really good friend of owner Jack Johnson, staying at BR meant that he'd be in his shadow with a similar sound. As from this year he gives it more of funky twist.

[edit] Brushfire's relation to UMG

In reference to UMG being a parent company of Brushfire, do we have any confirmation of that? The issue came up in a discussion I was having with somebody, and I didn't see any other obvious source for this elsewhere on the web. I'm questioning whether UMG may be only a distributing label for Brushfire ordinarily, only getting involved beyond this in cases where it shows a dual album name [Brushfire/Universal Music Group].

If this is true, the main Universal Music Group page may also need correcting, since it lists Brushfire as a sub-label as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.162.68.181 (talk) 11:37, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
