[edit] Bruce's first radio show?
Bruce mentioned on his 11/14/2006 show (first segment) that in 1975 he replaced Dave Marish's show which was called Dave Marrish On-Call. Bruce stated that his show was called Bruce Williams On Call, which is in conflict with what the radio hall of fame website mentions. Should the article be changed? [edit] Mention it on the show?
I'm almost tempted to call 1-800-RADIO-97 to give a quick plug for this article, along with a legitimate question for Mr. Williams. Thoughts? SchuminWeb (Talk) 02:24, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- Do it!! --Lukobe 18:41, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
- Bruce doesn't look at the internet at all and dosen't know much about websites. I think if you called him and told him about this article, he would not understand.
[edit] How old is Bruce?
That would be fun to hear, since I was able to contribute some to the article. I would still like to see more about Bruce's military service and something about how old he actually is. Stivo 04:01, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
there really isn't much known about Bruce Williams, I don't think anyone knows how old he is. And there isn't much information out there on the internet about him. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.116.238.242 (talk • contribs)
Bruce mentioned that he shares a birthday with John Travolta the other day which is Feb 18. I don't know the year, but I'm guessing it's in the neighborhood of 1930 from some of the other history found on him. Stivo 13:57, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Verifiable??
Where are the sources? Please cite the information. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hawaiianchief (talk • contribs) 02:56, 8 December 2006 (UTC).
- The sources for some of this information come via radio broadcast. How should we best cite that?
- --Stivo 16:11, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

- Well, Bruce's show is also podcasted on the Internet, so you could use the podcast as provided by Lifestyle Talk Radio Network (already linked from the article) and use the {{Cite podcast}}. Perhaps a better citation template to use would be {{Cite episode}} to cite the radio program directly. Please do use <ref> tags when citing. See Wikipedia:Footnotes for information on how to do this. Also, there are a host of other citation templates at Category:Citation templates. SchuminWeb (Talk) 05:30, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
- I added citations to the article. The jobs section would only ever be verifiable by Bruce himself, which he does frequently on his show. I would still be interested in some discussion as to how we can reference that in here properly.

[edit] Born 1932
His web site states he graduated high school in 1950. This would almost certainly mean he was born in 1932. http://www.brucewilliams.com/brucebio.htm. John celona 11:40, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not comfortable going on that page alone for determining birth year, since it's inexact. High school graduation is not necessarily a good measure of age. SchuminWeb (Talk) 18:47, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
Oh come, now. Maybe it's not necessarily a good measure that a person is EIGHTEEN, but they're almost certainly within two years of that, either side. Therefore, it's very safe to say Williams' birth year is between 1930 and 1934. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 149.101.1.120 (talk • contribs)
- Still notr sufficiently verifiable. SchuminWeb (Talk) 18:41, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
