Brunner CMS is a commercial Content Management System (CMS) based on PHP, MySQL, CSS, Ajax and XSLT. It is permanently being developed by Brunner AG, a company mainly based in Kriens, Lucerne, Switzerland.

The Brunner CMS is a commercial software which can only be rent and not bought. The setup and hosting of the software is always done by the company itself on its own server-systems. The software's main aim is to enable high ranks in online search engines. It tries to achieve this goal through complete separation of content and design and the use of techniques such as Mod-Rewrite and freely editable meta tags for each site. The software is conform to the guidelines of the World Wide Web Consortium, supports fluid layouts and plugins. Since version 4.0 the CMS also supports the use of UTF-8 as shown on the screenshot. Because of the costs for setup, support, hosting, and instruction-courses, the system is mainly used by companies.
