The Brunei team was formed in 1921 [1] to participate in the Malaysia Cup.
The team used to play in the 35,000-seat Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei.
The Brunei team's nickname was Tebuan (which means "Wasps").
