Bruck an der Leitha (Hungarian: Kiralyhida) is a city located in Lower Austria, Austria at the border to the Burgenland, which is marked by the Leitha river. It was founded in 1074 and elevated to the status of a city in 1239. It passed from Hungary to Austria in 1921. It was part of Burgenland between 1921-1938. Today, it has about 7311 inhabitants.
