Bruce Wayne Hawkins

Bruce Hawkins graduated from the University of California in San Diego. Along with Rene Dirven and Esra Sandikcioglu, Hawkins is co-editor of Language and Ideology, Vol 1.: Cognitive theoretical approaches. (Current Issues in Linguistic Theory). A professor at Illinois State University, Dr. Hawkins continues to collaborate with colleagues, striving to articulate a model of communication which can be applied to the everyday lived experience. He has taught English as a Second Language, speaking and reading Spanish fluently, and integrates the real world into his own application of evolving and undefined meanings of life.
