Bruce Quarrie

Bruce Quarrie (born 1947) is an English author and historian.
Quarrie was born in London, England in 1947. He studied English and Cambridge University and became a journalist on graduation. In 1972 he became the editor of Airfix Magazine and wrote his first book about war-gaming in 1974. In 1986 he became a full time writer, mostly about the Second World War.
He is married and has two daughters. He lives in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
