Bruce Patrick Bannon (born March 11, 1951, in Rockaway, New Jersey) is a former professional American football player. He played linebacker for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League in 1973 and 1974.
While at Penn State University, Bannon was named All-America and defensive MVP of the 1972 Cotton Bowl. He graduated in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science in geology. He played high school football at Morris Hills High School in Rockaway, New Jersey.[1]
