Bruce Bannister (born 14 April 1947 in Bradford) is a retired professional football player who played for Bradford City, Bristol Rovers, Plymouth, Hull City and US Dunkerque. While at Bristol Rovers, Bannister and teammate Alan Warboys perfected the 'Smash and Grab' method of football.[1] Bannister now runs a sports clothing shop.
