Let's play the feud
Hi Brodo, sorry for not responding earlier to your comments in the Talk:George_W._Bush#My_Pet_Goat_Picture page. I wasn't ignoring them. The way you format your comments line by line makes it appear that the initial comments are made by an anonymous poster. This makes it difficult to attribute who is saying what. [edit] Bush disputes
You've spent a fair amount of effort commenting on the photograph issue. We're still collecting input on another issue that's been hanging around for a while. You might want to look at Talk:George W. Bush#Presentation of substance abuse issues and offer your thoughts. JamesMLane 04:35, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Nonsense
Thought you'd enjoy reading this bit of nonsense[[1]] from the bizarre world of User:MONGO. -bro 172.169.252.227 01:48, 11 July 2005 (UTC)
That's funny. Hey though, (you must be getting tired of this by now) why don't you set up an account? It does lend a bit of legitimacy to your articles and edits. Brodo 02:07, 12 July 2005 (UTC)
- Yeah, I've definitely heard it enough. If you are interested though I went into it on SlimVirgin's talk page. -bro 172.165.157.184 03:18, 12 July 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Gonzo
Hi, Brodo. The reference to Gonzo as "Gonzales" in the Steve Martin episode is a one-joke situation. Kermit says that he doesn't want to see Gonzo's dancing cheese audition. He tells Gonzo to get lost, and then asks Scooter who's up next. Scooter announces the next audition as "Gonzales and Yolanda," and then we see Gonzo and a wedge of cheese dressed in Spanish costumes, dancing to flamenco guitar music. You wrote on the Gonzo page that his name is "said to be short for Gonzales," but the characters don't say that.
In another episode, Fozzie performs a magic act as "The Great Fozzini," but that's not supposed to be his real name -- it's just a one-time alias, like "Gonzales." I hope that makes my edit more clear. Toughpigs 04:36, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Civility
[2] - Please keep your posts on article discussion pages to about the article only. If you wish to call Kurt Cobain a "little knob" then do so on the millions forum sites there are on the internet. Wikipedia is not a place where you may spout your opinion, chances are no one will listen or it'll be removed. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
