Description	Old official municipal logo of the city of Brossard, Quebec from 1983 (April 1981?) to 2007. The logo was designed by Lactance Lambert and was selected through a contest held by the City. The green "b" represents a tree leaf and symbolizes the parks and the green environment of the city.
Source	SVG version derived from raster JPEG logo using Adobe Illustrator, with reduced quality (note straight edges on the lower portion of the curve of the "b") Raster JPEG logo from Marigot Historic Dictionary of Brossard. Purpose of use	To serve as a primary means of visual identification for the City of Brossard. To serve as commentary on the 1983 (1981?) contest held by the City for the design of a logo.

Other information	Since the logo image is captioned by "Old logo of the city of Brossard from 1983 to 2007", it does not confuse the reader into thinking that the article is endorsed by the City of Brossard.
