en:Brooklyn Bridge, also known as the East River Bridge, seen from Manhattan, as drawn (and woodcut) in a Swedish monthly magazine (Svenska Familj-Journalen, [1]) in August 1874. Featuring the Fulton Ferry House (to be made obsolete by the bridge) in the foreground. This picture is in the public domain, because the copyright has expired. This picture is a 300 dpi grayscale reduction of the original 600 dpi bitonal scan.
