[edit] Entstehung

Das Bild wurde mit einer Sony DSC-F717 erstellt und bestand ursprünglich aus 5 Einzelbildern. Diese wurden mit Adobe Photshop Elements 2.0 vorbearbeitet, um beispielsweise bewegte Objekte wie das Boot in der Mitte auszustempeln, zur Vermeidung von Geisterbilder. Anschließend wurde das Bild mit PTGUI zusammengesetzt und mit Adobe Photshop Elements 2.0 nachbearbeitet und in der Größe reduziert.

Das Bild zeigt die Brooklyn-Bridge in New York City im Stadtteil Manhattan. Der Standort des Fotografen war die rückwärtige Aussichtsplattform des New Yorker Seaports. Die Brooklyn Bridge war bei Ihrer Entstehung die größte Hängebrücke weltweit, sie entstand von 1867 bis 1883 und überspannt den East River. Erbaut wurde die Brücke von John A. Roebling und seinem Sohn. Die Brücke hat eine Spannweite von 3.461 feet und eine Höhe von 133 feet über dem East River.
