Brownstown Stakes

The Brownstown Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in the Republic of Ireland for three-year-old and above thoroughbred fillies and mares. It is run over a distance of 7 furlongs (1,408 metres) at Leopardstown Racecourse in early July.
It was promoted to Group 3 status in 2003, having earlier been classed as a Listed race. The distance of the race prior to 2003 was 1 mile (1,609 metres), and before 1999 the race took place in early August.
