Brompton Regis (formerly known as Kingsbrompton) is a village and civil parish in the West Somerset district of Somerset, England. It is situated in the Exmoor National Park, close to Wimbleball Lake, and about five miles north-east of Dulverton. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 439.[citation needed]
