Broadway Under the Stars

Co-produced by the League of American Theatres and Producers and NYC & Company, Broadway Under the Stars is a free evening concert in Central Park kicking off New York City’s summer cultural events. Fifteen thousand people stretch out on the grass with picnic blankets and baskets to enjoy romance and Broadway music each June.

The concert features some of Broadway’s hottest talent singing Broadway’s hits of today and yesterday, backed by a full orchestra. Special guests have included Antonio Banderas, Melanie Griffith, Jane Krakowski, Christina Applegate, Edie Falco, Jewel, and the Radio City Rockettes.

Broadway Under the Stars is produced in association with NYC & Company, and presented by Time Warner. The concert is televised in a one-hour edited version on WCBS-2.
