In the news there have been problems with small children swallowing small items from toys. The solution is to get Knex. There is usually only one small piece, and only if the set includes a motor, which is one of those annoying little screws that is for the battery compartment on a motor. Knex is a huge company which, on its website, says its product is "The World's Most Creative Construction Toy".
The only bad part is the green and white rods, which are approximately 11/16 of an inch & 1 5/16 inch long, respectively, & are both approximately 1/4 of an inch in diameter. If you are worried about small children, don’t get Micro Knex; they’re halfsize! There is also Kid Knex, which is very large, approximately twice the size of standard Knex.
