This article may benefit from a POV tweak. I didn't know anything about the case before I started reading the newspaper articles, and I was able to find more information about the defense than the prosecution. --Strangerer (Talk) 05:11, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

  • The sad truth is, that these people come from problematic and poor families :( Elmao 18:24, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi folks - I added the POV content to this article because it was so one-sided in favor of Holberg. I was a juror on this trial and sat through a full month of gruesome testimony. A defendent facing a capital murder charges can and should use everything in their defense at trial, but these statements should not be repeated out of context and without their rebuttal. Much of what I have written is taken from the Amarillo Globe-News articles from March 1998 and my jury notes from the case. I would like to cite them properly but haven't quite figured out how to use Wikipedia yet. Any help on annotation would be greatly appreciated. Hollyhaines 06:19, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

thanx for contributing Elmao 11:07, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

Im wondering how much attention you are still wanting Holly Ive seen you write the Amarillo paper, I am the best friend that testified which by the way your wrong about what I said... You Obviouly did not take very good notes on what I testified about. What happened to Mr. Towrey is wrong and just because you were a juror doesnt mean you know everything that happened or what you and the other jurors were not allowed to see.. You just need to get over it and and know that you being a juror does not make you an expert on Britatany or her case. Let it go, let someone who actually researches both sides write this.. get a life —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.252.53.234 (talk) 17:24, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

  • I appreciate your contributions, Hollyhaines, but I'm afraid that juror notes are not really a good reference since they are too close to being original research. Your information needs to be citable and needs to have come from a reliable third-party source, which means you need to find where these statements have been published. I will leave your statements for a while now in case you are able to find some reliable and verifiable references for your information. I may come back in a few months to clean up the article if you are unable to cite some of the statements you added. --72.54.44.153 20:47, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
    • If you would like to cite the information taken from the Amarillo Globe-News, try looking at Wikipedia:Citing sources. --72.54.44.153 20:52, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
    • Okay, it's been about a month, and I am going to remove the information that is not neutral, that is not cited, and that is original research. You may re-add some of the information when you find a reliable source for it, but a lot of it is unacceptable for an encyclopedia article, i.e., "She gave as good as she got," and, "[Holberg's story] simply doesn't stand up." --72.54.44.153 (talk) 16:01, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
