This might just be some sort of unfounded rumour, but I've heard stories about an original plan of making this album sound like one great song. The original tracklisting placed the song "Breaking The Law" as the first track, with "Rapid Fire" and "Metal Gods" following next. In the current tracklisting "Rapid Fire" opens up first with "Metal Gods" as the following song and THEN "Breaking The Law". It's rather vague, I know, but there's supposed to be signs of this left on the old vinyl records from the time of the album's release. Does anyone know how to verify whether this is true or just some kind of bad joke?
This is false the original that was initially released in the UK was "Rapid fire", "metal gods" and "breaking the law" this was intended by the band, but when it was released in the US the tracklist had changed and "breaking the law" was moved to the first song, this was because the record company saw that the song was popular and decided to move it there. This meant that boths sides of the vinyl record started off with the most popular songs "breaking the law" being one of them, the other "living after midnight" Harryngo (talk) 11:09, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Image:Judas Priest British Steel.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page.
