In my opinion it is valid to have this article, given that there are other articles concerning proposed but unbuilt rolling stock - two examples are Class 341 (proposed Crossrail stock) and Class 447 (proposed "Battersea Bullet" stock). Hammersfan 25/10/07, 22.33 BST

Certainly I agree that it’s valid to cover this stock — it just seems that it would be more informative if the information on the InterCity 250 were concentrated in one place, rather than split over two articles. David Arthur (talk) 15:04, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
