I have removed the link to the brighouse internet forum which i added a few months ago because it has been offline for quite some time RichardLangford 21:25, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

Removed the line about "Brighouse is also a train hub with many trains passing through." which anyone who has actually used the Railway Station will realise is factually incorrect. One train an hour stops in Brighouse which is riduculous; quotes like that suggest that we are provided with a decent service. Brighouse deserves better than this and local people should complain to their local MP for improved services!

I have never actually seen a train there... Jake-helliwell 21:49, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

I should be able to get my uncle (specialises in the history of Brighouse) to write loads in the History section, yay! Hazr0x 16:29, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

Don't Embrace hail from Brighouse? Could someone change the Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band section into a music section or something and add them? I would but I know nothing about them :P Image:BrighouseCrest.jpg thegreatloofa(talk) 10:10, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

There ae many buildings in need of renovation? Well that might be, but please name them. Referenced are required here, and not just names but suiable buildings for renovation and why. As a local property develoloper I'd love to know! I doubt that anyone who currently lives in brighouse would make this statement. User:82.20.12.146 03:06, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

There's enough building work and otherwise disruption going on in Brighouse as it is without a thousand and one developers descending on the town to renovate everything, thank you very much. User:82.38.128.2 00:25, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

In the history section, the paragraph begins 'In prehistoric times..'. Really? Prehistoric means before recorded history, and in no way refers to this part of the world in Roman times or even a couple of thousand years before. Can this be changed to something more suitable? Agreed! I have changed the wording slightly. However, whilst looking for some references to 'Snake Hill Ford' I noted the duplicated wording of the History and Buildings sections of the article to the wording in the Brighouse Go Local website. However that website currently has a '©2007 Brighouse Go Local' note at the bottom, so either the wording in the Wiki article is a {{Copyvio}} of that website or that website has copied the wording from the Wiki Article and is now claiming copyright on it.
