[edit] Pre-chorus

I dislike people refering to pre-choruses as bridges, but I put a note in the article about it. They are a type of bridge, but not the bridge. --86.130.146.237 04:45, 19 January 2006 (UTC)

any particular reason why it ends with BTO?Vegeta206 07:32, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Note re copyright and the quote from Deems Taylor

Taylor's program notes, written in collaboration with Gershwin in 1928, are printed in full without a copyright notice in the piano score I have. They are also frequently quoted in recording liner notes, as well as in the Wikipedia article An American in Paris , and are likely by now public domain. In any case I believe this would qualify for exemption as a "short excerpt in a review or article". D A Patriarche 22:47, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Need for disambiguation

Someone who is a good Wikipedia programmer might like to add a disambiguation for 'bridge', which refers to a large structure spanning a waterway or whatever, the musical meaning in this article, a part of various string instruments, and so on. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.72.92.159 (talk) 01:04, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

It seems very doubtful that someone will type "Bridge (music)" into the search engine when they are looking for the thing that crosses water.Trout Ice Cream (talk) 03:09, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
