Talk:Brian Giles
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I removed the ridiculous claim that he is the active leader in pitches seen. There are many active players who have played for much longer, so I don't see how this could be possible. Mickeyg13 07:32, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
I removed the bit about clubhouse nudity. It doesn't belong in an encyclopedia, unless perhaps that is the only reason the person is well-known. Giles is known enough for his on-field accomplishments, so although I chuckled at the bit, it doesn't belong. Also, although it didn't cite sources, I don't doubt the truth of it. I remember hearing once that during a rain-delay in Pittsburgh, he stripped out of his clothes, duct-taped his number on his back, and took nude batting practice. Mickeyg13 01:09, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
